Answers to common questions

Do I Need to Bring Anything?

Ensure you know where your locking wheel nuts are before you come in for a service….

What are Locking Wheel nuts and what do they do?

Locking wheel nuts are specifically designed to protect your alloy wheels from being easily accessible and subsequently removed by potential thieves. Each set of locking wheel nuts has a unique indent and comes complete with a key that matches up exactly with that pattern. This means that the only time the wheel nuts can be removed is when the key with the correct pattern is inserted.

What is an interim Service?

An Interim service consists of:

  • Oil change* & oil filter
  • Top-ups of all fluids**
  •  Brakes, steering, tyre pressures and other safety checks
  •  Visual checks of tyres, lights, indicators, mirrors and wipers, exhaust.
  •  Parts include oil filter, *oil and fluids.

(*AdBlue top ups will not be included in interim or full services on models that are fitted with an external AdBlue filling point.  **An additional charge may apply should vehicle require specialist oils)

How Often Should I Service My Car?

In general, your car ought to be serviced annually or every 10,000 to 12,000 miles –  whichever comes first.   A full service is highly recommended however, if your car is regularly serviced then a basic service will help to keep it running smoothly.

At LTS Banbury we offer both a full service as well as an interim service which are carried by highly trained and certified technicians.

All parts supplied by LTS are of the same high standard of quality of the manufacturer’s original components.
